{"id":171,"date":"2011-09-10T15:57:01","date_gmt":"2011-09-10T05:57:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kingdomofdesmond.com\/?p=171"},"modified":"2020-09-10T16:13:22","modified_gmt":"2020-09-10T06:13:22","slug":"september-2011","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kingdomofdesmond.com\/?p=171","title":{"rendered":"2011 September"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Representatives of MacCarthy M\u00f3r, have approached the Standing Council of Irish Chiefs and Chieftains (SCICC) about that body&#8217;s current process and procedure for seating a Chief-of-the-Name.<br>If the SCICC is still functioning as it was originally intended, MacCarthy M\u00f3r should be included, as he:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>is properly elected by his derbhfine; and,<\/li><li>has had the legitimacy of his pedigree confirmed and recorded by the Norroy &amp; Ulster King of Arms.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The inquiry went to the O Morchoe who was listed as the contact.<br>Clans of Ireland, Ltd. was also informed of the inquiry on behalf of the MacCarthy Mor, relative to their own interactions with MacCarthys inquiring about a MacCarthy Clan organisation.
